next year, we're only getting the kids stocking stuffers- it took them an hour to open their presents because they were so happy with their chocolates and flashlights. i'm grateful our kids aren't greedy and happy with the things they have. whenever we go into a toy store, they never ask for toys. they love to play with them, and they'll ask from time to time, but if we tell them no, they don't ever tantrum. it's a huge blessing to have kids who understand what gratitude is.
