when jack kept falling out of his toddler bed, we figured it was time to move him into a twin. this presented some problems as his room with jimmy was too small for a twin and a crib, which meant moving him into the room with sammy and putting richard in with jimmy. we thought this would be an issue, but it wasn't. so grateful for my easy- going kids:) so, jack got a twin bed with mario sheets. a few months later, sammy decided it was time to take off his night night pullup and stay in his underpants for the night. our deal with him was that he would have an angry bird bed IF he kept his underpants dry. well, he did, so he got a new bed, too:) jacob was worried about them sharing a room, since he did NOT like sharing a room when he was younger- he felt like he was never alone and had to share too much with his younger brother- underwear, birthdays, clothing- and he didn't want to do that to our kids. but jack and sammy LOVE sharing a room! probably because they each have a personal space catered to their individual personalites:)
